This story happened a long time ago… A time where humans and the tiny people known as ‘micros’ weren’t living in the ‘same world’… The ‘tinies’ as called by humans are so small that their size is a little above 2 cm… Life isn’t easy for them since they’re always used as toys by the humans, considered like a ‘lower sub species’ even if they look like human people so much… The worst happened when an old legend came to light… “eat a tiny one and it will make your body beautiful”. It was used as a pretext by the humans, who could now eat them without any remorse… Some restaurants also added them to their menu and there’s the famous cooking TV show “How Will You Eat Your Tiny Today ?”. Surviving every day… It’s how the small people live now… Hiding from humans wherever they can… In a house’s wall… Digging holes to hide in… Or even inside a tree… Of course some humans tried to protect them… But their littles lives are so hard to protect that every attempt to protect the small people failed… But it wasn’t always like this… Hundreds of years before this horrible story started for the tiny ones… When humans ‘discovered’ them …
A nameless island in the middle of the sea… It was the age of the knights and kings… Where people believed in magic and some of them could use it… There is where everything started…

Erelle was waking up… The sun was so bright that her eyes closed when the white light shone through the window… The girl had a peaceful night… Exiting her bed she stretched her naked body in front of the window… She was living in the ‘upper city’ so nobody could have seen her by her window… The sun was making her white hair ‘glow’ with its delicate light… Erelle smiled at the sun… Then turning around she opened a drawer and took a one-piece white dress inside… And put it on her young body. Opening the door of her room she put her sandals that were in front of the room and walked in the hall, she was now in front of her house’s entrance.

Opening her door, she bathed in the sun’s rays… Her hair shining even more when she exited the house. A girl was sitting at the portal… She had red hair and was looking sick… When she saw Erelle she sat on her knees and put her head on the ground “P…. Princ…” But Erelle stopped her and put a hand on the girl’s shoulder “Don’t call me like that, please… We’re the same you and I… But since you came here, tell me, what can I do for you ?” The girl was smiling but was holding her arm… Some tears were running down her cheeks “it was during my work… We were building a new house … I fell on the ground … And my arm…” Erelle nodded and placed her hand on the girl’s arm “I understand… Let me see it, please.” The girl wasn’t moving… Her lips shivering from the pain she was feeling, her arm was probably broken… Finally Erelle placed a gentle hand on the girl’s arm, the other one on the girl’s cheek. Erelle’s eyes were deep blue… And there was a strange glow in them… She was smiling… “To you who came here looking for help… I give you my blessing.” A white and blue glow appeared on Erelle’s back, in the shape of two wings of light… A tiny crown shape also appearing on Erelle’s forehead… The red haired girl closed her eyes, Feeling the light going deep inside of her… Then it disappeared with the glow that was surrounding Erelle… The girl’s arm not broken anymore, tears of joy filled the girl’s eyes… She wanted to hug the younger girl that was in front of her… But she had too much respect for that… Erelle smiled and took a step forward… Wrapping the girl in her arms… “Don’t be shy… I told you that we’re the same you and I…” The girl was crying from joy “Thank you… Thank you !!” She was still looking away… Too shy to look at Erelle’s eyes but she was respecting her. Bowing in front of the white haired girl she thanked her again then went back into the city… Leaving Erelle smiling while looking at the girl who wasn’t suffering anymore.

Erelle was one of the ‘chosen ones’… There wasn’t many of them on the island and they all shared this unusual hair color, they all had different ‘powers’ but Erelle wasn’t the kind to ‘show’ them in public… She was more reserved and prefered to live just like any other of her kind. Some people called them kings and queens but Erelle never really cared about that ‘title’, as long as she could help anybody it was fine for her.

Erelle was walking in the city. She loved to see some kids gathering around her even if she was young too with her 16 years, she went and sat at a wide place where all the ‘adventurers’ were telling tales of their adventures. A brown haired man, in his thirties, walked at the center of the place. Noticing Erelle sitting on the side, he bowed in respect towards her “I’m happy to see you again here, Princess.” Erelle blushed and answered by a sign with her hand. She listened to his tales… He had taken a boat and crossed the blue sea… Went places no one ever went before and saw some strange creatures too… He was talking about girls made of water… Nagas, those girls who had a snake’s tail instead of legs and the ‘giants’… Erelle never saw any of those creatures… But she believed that they existed outside of the island. Passing a hand in her hair she was wondering how big the world really was, even if she didn’t really want to leave the island… After all, even if she left this safe place she wouldn’t last long outside… She was so small after all, even smaller than an apple…

Life was always like that for those people… They didn’t know how small they were since they didn’t know anything from outside of the island and the ‘adventurers’ also prefered to return home once they travelled enough… Some of them also never came back, either getting lost in the gigantic sea or preferring to continue exploring and never come back… But soon everything would change…

It was time to go to the ‘temple’. It was a place where the 5 ‘chosen’ would meet each week. Erelle took a seat and looked around, she was the first to arrive. A girl came near with a bottle “Do you want to drink anything, Princess?” Erelle looked at that girl… She was probably her age “No thanks… And please call me Erelle, I don’t like that title…” The girl looked a bit surprised… It was the first time she worked at the temple… But she didn’t expect to hear this from a ‘chosen one’… The girl bowed “I’m sorry…! But this is what you deserve, Princess… I’m honored to talk with you but I’m just a servant and I have to respect you…” Erelle stood up and walked in front of the girl “What is your name?” The girl blushed… Looking away “I… My name is… Rin… But you don’t need to remember this…” Erelle put a hand on the girl’s shivering shoulder… Not wanting to make Erelle mad at her “I’ll remember you, Rin.” Said Erelle with a smile… “Look at me, please… We’re the same… We have the same body… Almost the same height and I could tell that we’re both 16… Of course I have this white hair… But Rin, we’re the same and I’ll respect you for this… So please, don’t be shy with me.” Erelle took the girl’s hand between hers, the girl bowing her head “I… I understand… Prin… Er… Erelle. Thank you.” Said Rin, her cheeks blushing bright red… But feeling not as shy as before. “You’re welcome, Rin. Besides… Do you want to stay with me during our meeting…? It’s always the same topics and it’s a bit boring, haha ~” Rin was feeling so strange… One of the most important citizen wanted her to be her equal… Rin nodded “Thanks… But I won’t say much… I prefer to stay here to watch if possible” Erelle smiled “Thank you, Rin” while showing a chair right beside her, inviting Rin to sit.

A girl approached from the other side of the big room… She had long, white hair… Some of it hid her right eye but she didn’t pay it any mind… She was also one of the ‘chosen ones’ and sat at the table, facing Erelle and Rin. “Greetings Erelle, and to you too, miss.” Erelle bowed her head “Hello Aria, let me introduce you to Rin, she’ll be at my side for today’s meeting” Aria smiled, in fact she was the one Erelle got along with the most when she joined the ‘order’. Both of them also met sometimes in the city but Aria was a bit older atop of her 20 years. Five minutes passed and two men came inside the room… The younger one was Rhis, he was always shy but his blood and his ‘magic’ allowed him to join the ‘order’, he sat right beside Erelle “Greetings Aria, Erelle, miss…”. The other one was older, maybe 35 years old, he wasn’t really looking happy and his expression was hard… “Hmphf… A ‘commoner’ here…? I really don’t understand you, Erelle… You’re the most powerful among us but you still take care of them…” Aria stood up “Stop this, Basil ! The meeting hasn’t even begun and you’re already talking with that big mouth of yours !” Basil crossed his arms but wasn’t done yet “I’ll say whatever I want, Aria… We’re the leaders here and we’re more important than…” He couldn’t finish, Erelle stood up and was looking right in his eyes… Her eyes had a white glow… “Stop this, Basil. We’re not ‘leaders’ or anything… We were chosen by the Fate but we don’t have to be like this… Sit down… Now.” Basil had a shiver… Wanted to speak again but his arms fell on his sides, he was mumbling “… As you wish, Crown…” And sat at the table… Not saying anything more. Soon a last man entered the room… He had an uncommon haircut like a white flame on his head… He was also wearing a mask covering his face down to his nose “Welcome Fyr” said Rhis when he saw the pale-looking man approaching and sitting at the table silently… He wasn’t talking much and greeted the other ones with a sign of his hand.

The ‘council’ was now in session. The five of them were always talking about different subjects and how they could help the people with their powers. Aria was the closest to Erelle, she had the ‘power’ of the wind and could use it to move some heavy things, she was usually with Rhis when people needed to build some new houses. Rhis had the power of the earth, he was using it to develop the city and was also really active with minor tasks as long as it helped someone. Basil had a strange power, he could move things with his mind and was physically the strongest among the 5, he wasn’t much interested in helping anybody and was mainly ‘showing off’ his powers… Fyr did not have such a ‘wonderful’ power, but he could ‘see the future’… He was wearing a mask due to an accident he had when he was younger where his whole face was burnt in a fire… But whenever he talked, the four others listened because his prophecies carried very important information. Erelle was the youngest of them… She was the only one to ‘change’ when she was using her powers, she didn’t really know all of her powers but she could heal people and it was said on the island that she could control ‘Life’ itself as well as other things, still unknown to her. When she uses her power, two wings of light appear on her back as well as a light crown on her forehead. No one could tell why she was like this but she helped so many people in the city that they started calling her ‘the guardian angel’. Erelle didn’t really like this nickname but it was real that she was helping people with everything she could give.

Erelle never knew her parents… She was found at the ‘temple’ gate when she was a baby… But as she grew older, she stopped really wanting to ‘discover’ who her parents were… But was also helping everyone, maybe to fill this subconscious ‘need’ she had. The council was now talking about a new district that was needed for the city… The island was big enough to build many houses but they had to be far from the trees, during the ‘old times’, some apples, among other fruits, fell on the tiny houses and crushed them easily… It didn’t take long for them to start building their houses far from the giant trees. In this new district, many things were needed for the everyday life of the citizens. Rhis and Aria were already talking about some plans and Fyr was listening to them, nodding his head as an answer. Basil wanted every building to be ‘a piece of art’ but wasn’t really considering that some people would live inside… Erelle also gave some advice of her own and also asked Rin for some ideas…

Soon the meeting was over. Erelle bowed to everyone then walked outside of the main room, stretching her arms above her head “So Rin, was it interesting…?” The girl was walking beside Erelle and looked a bit lost in her thoughts “Hmmm it’s really nice to talk about developping the city… It was really interesting but some of you don’t really share the same ideas…” Erelle was looking at the girl on her side “Yes… But we always find a solution even if it’s kinda complicated with ‘him’… I’m sorry about what Basil said to you, Rin…” The girl shook her head “Don’t worry princ… Erelle. I’m used to this and it’s our task to help you after all…” Erelle was now looking at the sky, the girls were now outside of the ‘temple’. “Hmmm it’s getting a bit late… I don’t know if i should go back now or maybe go to the park and listen to some tales from the adventurers…” Rin was looking a bit shy “Erelle…? I would like to thank you for today if possible… Would you come to my house to share dinner with us…? I know that you’re living alone so maybe you would have some people to talk with tonight …?” Erelle was a bit surprised and smiled “Ah… It would be a pleasure, Rin. It’s always better to spend some time with friends, right ?~” and then both of the girls started to walk towards Rin’s house. On their way, some people bowed to Erelle, thanking her for some help she gave some days ago. Erelle bowed her head back and smiled to them, Rin was looking at all of those people “Did you help all of them ? It’s really impressive” Erelle smiled “There was a small epidemy last week and well… I treasure life more than anything so I couldn’t stay here and watch them suffer… ” Rin was looking back at Erelle “I knew that the ‘council’ could do amazing things… But I really respect the way you are with us… So close to everyone” Erelle lifted her head and was looking at the sky “I really like this city and its people… It’s so peaceful and everyone is friendly with each other even if there are some exceptions like ‘this man’…~” Rin blushed and had a giggle… Imagining how Basil’s friends would be like…

Soon the girls were in front of Rin’s house “I live here with my older sister Mira, she’s really kind and will love having you with us for tonight.” Rin opened the door to Erelle “After you, Erelle.” The white haired girl removed her shoes and put them next to the door, respecting the house she would enter and stepped inside, followed by Rin. “Princess Erelle…!?” Said the girl inside, surprised to see her, Rin went beside Erelle “Let me introduce you to my sister Mira.” Erelle smiled “Oh but don’t worry, I know her well already…” As the white haired girl put her hand on Mira’s arm… In fact it was the girl who came looking for some help this morning. Erelle smiled and told Rin what happened earlier in the morning, Mira also told how she broke her arm and how Erelle cured her. Mira was looking a bit shy at first but soon all of the 3 girls were talking easier. The two sisters looked very similar, except that Rin had black hair and Mira’s was red. Both of the sisters were really happy to have such a visit that night, and it was great to know that Erelle was really like them, not being their ‘princess’ or anything like that.

It was now late, Erelle put her sandals back as she exited the house, bowing to the 2 girls and thanking them again for this evening. Erelle was walking in the city at night… Even if it was dark there were still some people around, bringing life to the city even during the night. The girl was looking at the moon… So far from her above the already giant trees… She was smiling, thinking again about the two sisters and wondering if she would meet them again… Erelle stopped in front of her house… Someone was resting against the wall, waiting for her.

“Fyr…?” Said Erelle as she saw the masked man in front of her. “Erelle. We need to talk.” Erelle’s eyes opened as he was talking, it was something important to hear. “Something will happen soon… I can’t see your future precisely because of your ‘power’ but… You’ll have to do something soon… Something that will change everything we know about our world…” Clouds parted away and let the moon’s glow through… Making their hair ‘shine’ a deep white… Erelle wasn’t talking, just listening and looking at the man with her blue eyes “Be ready, Erelle… I will be counting on you… And be careful please…” Said Fyr, starting to walk away. “Wait Fyr…what is that supposed to mean…?” Said Erelle, shivering from this strange ‘revelation’… Fyr turned around and said some strange words “The rescue… The fake ‘dream’ … The angel in the sky… And an endless trip… That is what I ‘saw’… I can’t really tell what will happen… But be prepared, Erelle, I know that you will make the right choice and I won’t go against your decision.” And with this, Fyr turned around then went back on the road, leaving Erelle lost in her thoughts… The girl sat on a rock that was in her garden and looked at the moon… What happened just now…? She wanted to understand but couldn’t at this time… Sighing deeply she opened the door of her house then walked inside, still thinking about Fyr… He doesn’t usually talk much, but when he does, his prophecies always come true… Erelle went in her room and removed her shoes then her dress… ‘Bathing’ her naked body in the moonlight… Looking one last time through the window to see the whole city so alive even in the night, Erelle went into her bed and grabbed the cover… Slowly closing her eyes, she hoped that all that she learned tonight wouldn’t be something bad for her and the ‘world’ she loved to live in… And with a deep sigh, Erelle fell in a deep sleep…

Erelle didn’t sleep well that night… She woke up early in the morning, hearing some noise in front of the window… Was it some kids playing again…? In fact it wasn’t kids but Erelle couldn’t hear well yet… Passing a hand in her bright white hair she yawned then picked a dress from her closet and put it on… Stretching her arms she put on her shoes and walked to the door when she heard someone knocking on it “Erelle…! Open up, please !” Erelle opened her eyes wide… She knew this voice well but not usually panicked like this… Opening the door, Aria was here but she wasn’t looking as peaceful as usual… “Aria…? What do you …” But Aria cut her sentence “Not now…! It’s… A monster ! Right on the east beach !” Erelle was remembering what Fyr told her the previous night…. “Tell me more, Aria.” Said Erelle with a calm voice, putting a hand on Aria’s arm. The girl was now looking less stressed… Erelle was gifted at putting people at ease. Aria bowed her head “I really don’t know what it’s all about… But take my arm please, it will be easier to show you.” Erelle nodded and grabbed Aria’s arm, knowing what would happen next.

A tiny wind surrounded the girls… It became stronger and Erelle’s hair was moving fast… “Let’s go.” Said Aria and with a strong wind rising up, the girls raised in the air and were high above the ground within a second. Aria could fly with her ‘wind power’ but could also carry someone else with her and Erelle already tried this many times before. Aria wrapped her other arm around Erelle and the wind was now pushing them in the direction of the side of the island… There were lots of trees in the way… Aria moved to avoid getting near one of them and soon the girls were seeing sand on the ground, telling them that they were now close to their destination. Erelle’s lips and eyes were shivering… Watching something ‘unreal’… Both of the girls started to descend slowly and were soon back on the ground. Some people were here and Erelle could see Rhis but he was looking busy, Erelle was still looking at the so-called ‘monster’…

There were some big wood parts scattered on the sand… From maybe a tall ship…? But the most important was this ‘being’ right in front of Erelle… It was a young girl… A giant young girl… She was looking like a 10 years old girl but she was so huge that she could easily hold 12 people in her hand. But right now she was in a coma state… She had many wounds on her body and was also breathing irregularly… Moaning from pain from time to time… Erelle was feeling sad but this girl was… Dangerous. Who could tell what she would do if she found all the tiny ones around her…

“Kill her.” Said a man’s voice near Erelle. Hearing this she turned her head and saw Basil giving orders to some people “Is that the best solution, Basil?” Asked Rhis a bit scared, it was the first time she saw something like this on the island after all… “She’ll kill us if we don’t act first !” Yelled Basil, anger filling his eyes “And how do you want to do this ?” Asked Aria “Our powers aren’t strong enough to deal with this girl…” But Basil looked calm “Crown… You have to do this.” As he was looking at Erelle… She was surprised… The council asked her to kill an ‘innocent’ person? “But I don’t know if my powers would go this far…” Basil wasn’t done yet “It’s said that when you were younger you managed to bring someone back to life after an incident… You control even Life itself, Erelle ! So if you can give something you can also take it back ! You don’t need to think here… Just do it …!” Erelle was looking down at her hands… Was it the real solution…? She had to take this young girl’s life…? To kill her before anything could happen…? But before she could do anything the ground started shaking…

Two giant eyes… The girl had her head laying on the ground and was looking at the tiny ones right in front of her face… She had some blood on her forehead and her whole face was looking dirty… But she was also crying… Aria took a step back… Basil was so surprised he fell on his back, putting his hands in front of his face… Standing next to Erelle, Rhis wasn’t moving… Soon the giant girl’s lips opened… “He…lp… Me… Pl…ease…” And with a cry of pain the two eyes closed again… The blood dripping from the girl’s forehead mixing with her tears and falling on the ground… Basil stood up “Do it now… She’s weak enough… Kill her !” But Erelle turned around… “I won’t do that.” Basil looked furious and grabbed Erelle’s shoulders… Also yelling at her “What did you said ?! She’s a giant monster ! Look at her face ! Her mouth is big enough to devour our kids whole !! And her feet are tall enough to crush our houses easily !! She’s just a monster !!” Erelle had a white glow in her eyes “She’s alive… She’s dying here… She asked for help… And you want me to KILL HER ? What if some other like her come here to search for her …? What will you do then, Basil?” Erelle removed Basil’s hands from her shoulders, Aria walked closer “We can’t let her stay… But we can’t let her die here too …” Erelle nodded “All right… I’ll heal her wounds and… I’ll ask her to leave… Does that sound like the right thing to do for all of you ?” Rhis nodded “As long as you don’t bring her back to the city that’s fine with me.” Aria also agreed… Basil mumbled “Do what you want … ‘princess’…” Before turning back and walking away… “You should all go back to your houses people… Erelle will take care of this…” Said Aria, asking the people to ‘hide’ back in the city, surely it was far enough away from the beach. Aria then looked at Erelle “Will it be all right for you…? I mean I know that you have an incredible power within you even if we don’t know how far you can go with it, but it’s the first time we see something like her… If only Fyr was here he could have said something about this…” Indeed Fyr wasn’t here, Erelle was reminiscing about last night… Erelle will have something to do soon… Was it about what was happening now ? “I’ll be back, Aria… People are counting on us… And I’ll do whatever I have to do protect them… And also to protect this girl’s life… She’s not just a giant monster… She’s a young girl… She’s a living being and I can’t let her die alone…” Aria bowed, accepting her friend’s answer then, using the wind again, she raised in the air, looked at Erelle down on the ground then turning in direction of the city she let the wind push her back to her destination…

Erelle was standing on the sand in front of the giant girl… Looking at her face that was shivering from pain… She was wearing a simple white dress, torn at different parts and stained with blood… Erelle bowed her head down… Took a long breath… And raising her head she had another white glow in her eyes… Two flames appeared on her back, turning into the shapes of two wings, a white and a blue one… Another light on Erelle’s forehead became a light crown… Erelle put her hands in front of her and started to speak… Her voice was getting melodious… “Lost girl who is suffering… I give you my help.” And soon the girl’s body was coated in a soft white light… Her wounds started to close… The girl coughed and tried to open her eyes… Having difficulty breathing, she let out a gasp… “Are…you… An… An…gel…? Am… I … Dead…?” Erelle shook her head “You’re alive, young girl.” And with another glow coming out of this tiny girl, the ‘giantess’ was now healed, her wounds all closed and she could breathe naturally… Soon the wings and the crown disapeared as Erelle fell on her back, exhausted to have used so much of her ‘power’… After a long sigh, Erelle went limp and passed out…

Erelle’s eyes popped open with a gasp… She let out a tiny scream as she was wondering what happened… She looked around and finally realized that she was laying in that girl’s hand… And she was looking at her from above with two deep green eyes. Erelle shivered… Wondering what would happen, but the girl had a tear roll down her cheek “Ah… I’m glad that you’re fine tiny angel… I thought that it killed you to heal me…” Erelle was looking surprised and the girl talked again “How can I ever thank you for helping me… We were on a ship with my aunt … We were explorers but we got lost in a storm and a rock broke our ship… I thought I’d drown so I tried to swim but I was hurt… And before I could scream for help I sank in the water… Then I woke up here…” The girl put her hands in front of her face carefully so Erelle wouldn’t fall “But… What are you little angel…? I never saw anything like you before… I just heard tales about people like you…” Erelle was sitting “You don’t need to thank me young girl… I would be a monster if I left you to die there… My name is Erelle and I live here but I’m not really an angel…” The girl smiled and put her cheek against her hand… Pressing Erelle against her soft skin “And I’m Claire, I’m a human girl but ah… Did you find anyone else around…?” Erelle took a deep breath “I’m sorry but you’re the only one we found…” The girl was looking a bit sad “Oh… But there was another ship… I’m sure Auntie managed to escape and that they found her…” Erelle wanted the girl to think about something else “Do you feel all right now…? Is there something more I could do for you ?” As if it was replying, Claire’s belly growled… “Oh… I’m sorry… I think I’m a bit hungry after all of this…” Erelle had a shiver… Then looked around, there were some trees near them “Hmmm we have some fruits if you want, there might be some apples near the trees…” Claire nodded “I would love to. But first I would like to clean myself first.” Then the human girl put Erelle carefully on the ground before walking to the sea… Not even removing her torn dress she sat in the warm water and brushed all the dirt away… Also cleaning her face of the blood she lost before, she put some water on her hair to clean it… She was looking at all the closed wounds she had… There weren’t any scars remaining, if Erelle wouldn’t have there to heal them, the girl would probably be dead by now… Soon she was done with this and went back to Erelle, crouching near her she put her hand on the ground, inviting the small girl to climb on. Erelle looked at this young girl from below… She was now looking just like a regular child even if she was so tall… Erelle slowly walked onto the giant fingers and soon she was again sitting on the girl’s palm “Thank you for waiting for me. I really didn’t want to stay dirty like this … Even less in front of you, Erelle.” Erelle blushed, she was used to be thanked by different people but this time was different… Claire smiled to the small girl she was holding and went near the trees, there were some fruits on the ground and all of them looked good. Claire picked an apple in her other hand and sat against another tree where nothing could fall on the girls. Erelle was looking at this huge apple… It needed many people just to carry one in the city but Claire was holding it so easily… The girl noticed that “Do you want some, Erelle…?” And with a single nail, Claire took a tiny bit apart from the fruit and presented it to Erelle with a smile “Thank you, Claire.” Erelle took a tiny bite in the fruit, it was really something she loved but also one of the many fruits they could eat every day. Since there weren’t many animals on the island, they couldn’t hunt for meat and only heard of them in the adventurers’ stories… Claire raised the fruit to her face and took a large bite, making Erelle shiver again… She was so tiny compared to this giant face… But Claire didn’t look like a bad person. Soon the apple completely eaten… Claire rested her head against the tree and looked at the small girl “So, do you live here alone, Erelle? It would be hard for someone like you… Ah sorry I don’t want to say that…” Erelle smiled “Don’t worry about that… Usually I live in the city but… I’ll be honest with you, the ‘council’ prefers that I stay away from the city with you.” Claire was looking a bit sad “I guess they’re afraid of me… I can’t really do anything about this but I understand… And you’re ruled by an ‘order’ of something ?” Erelle nodded “We’re not really ‘ruled’… We’re living in peace with everyone but some of us were … ‘Blessed’ with some ‘powers’… We don’t really know about them but we try to use them to help everybody… All of this is ‘symbolized’ by the white hair we have.” Claire looked carefully “And this white fits you perfectly, Erelle… I really wish you could meet my aunt… She’s so kind too …” Said Claire with a sigh “I also never saw real ‘magic’ before… It was all in tales and such… But it was amazing to feel, all of this ‘light’ penetrating inside of me…”

The afternoon went smoothly… Erelle talked about where she was living and how life was in their city… Claire also talked about her own ‘world’… A giant kingdom ruled by a young queen… Many creatures also live there that Erelle heard about from the adventurers… Everything was real ! “But we have people of your kind, too, Erelle… But most of them aren’t really ‘human-looking’ like the nagas with half of their bodies being a snake… And they don’t talk much unlike you… They mostly hunt for food and sometimes bite us… But since they’re so small, it doesn’t really hurt …” Erelle was listening carefully … Remembering every small detail Claire told… And soon the sun started to ‘dive’ in the sea… The night was slowly coming up… The sand was still warm… And Claire found a small fabric among the ship parts, it was big enough for her to wrap herself in for the night… Laying on the warm sand and putting on her ‘cover’ the young girl yawned… And slowly closing her eyes “Good night, Erelle… I hope that you’ll be there tomorrow…” And soon her eyelids were closed as she easily fell asleep… Erelle was on the girl’s hand while she talked “Good night, Claire…” And jumping on the sand she walked a bit then turned around, looking at this giant girl… “I hope that we’ll be both alright…” Said Erelle before hearing some noise behind her.

“She’s sleeping just like one of our young girls …” Said a voice right behind Erelle who was still looking at the sleeping Claire “Aria… She looks so innocent… I just couldn’t abandon her here… It’s just like my own past…” Aria approached and put a cover on Erelle’s shoulders “And knowing you… You want to stay here for the night to see if something might happen… ” Erelle nodded but she was also thinking… The girl told about another ship… And probably more of those ‘humans’… “I’ll find a solution for her… I don’t want Claire to feel alone… And it’s not like she would hurt anybody… But…” Aria put her hand on Erelle’s head “I’m sure you’ll find something… And if you need anything just call me… I’ll stay around just in case…” Erelle nodded as Aria started to raise in the air and went back to the city. Erelle walked back to the sleeping giantess and wrapped herself in the cover Aria brought her. Laying her tiny body aside Claire’s face she fall asleep looking at the human girl…

It was early in the morning, Erelle’s eyes opened up as she heard a gust of wind near her… It was Aria and she was crying… “Hhmmm …? Aria…? What…?” But Aria grabbed Erelle’s hand “I need your help now Erelle, please!” Erelle was confused… Looking at Claire she was still sleeping and would need more time to fully recover… Erelle stood up “Tell me what happened.” Aria put her other hand on Erelle’s “It’s my little sister Erelle… She was playing with some of her friends near the south beach but… She tripped and fell down the cliff … And I wasn’t here to look at her …! I came as fast as I could and she’s still alive …! Erelle… I beg you… Help her !!” Erelle wrapped Aria in her arms “I understand, bring me to her.” And with a strong wind, the two girls were flying… Aria was pretty skilled at controlling her power… And soon they were above the city… Most people were still sleeping, some kids already running in the streets… Aria used the wind again and soon both of the girls were in front of Aria’s house. Erelle ran inside… Aria’s other younger sister was here, crying in front of the laying girl… She was really young and her body was broken in many places… She was barely breathing and moaning from a deep pain… Aria moved towards her and put her hand on the bleeding forehead of her sister “Nina… Erelle is here… Don’t worry…” The girl had tears in her eyes but couldn’t answer… Her arms were both broken, along with her right leg… She had many wounds on her body and was breathing slower… She wouldn’t last long at this rate… Aria took her other sister in her arms “Everything will be all right… Don’t cry…” But Aria was also crying as she was looking at Erelle “Please…” With a nod of her head, Erelle stood in front of Nina… Putting her hands to hold the girl in them Erelle sat on the ground… Nina’s head laying on Erelle’s chest… The white haired girl closed her eyes and started to hum a song… Still holding the broken girl in her arms, making her comfortable… Nina uttered a small cry… She was shivering… Erelle put her hand in Nina’s hair and started to speak… Her words were like a soft song… “Nina… It wasn’t your fault… Please come back to your sisters…” And soon two wings emerged from Erelle’s back… The crown on her forehead glowing a white light… The two wings wrapped around Erelle and the girl she was holding as Erelle started to sing again for her… “Now… Live!” Said Erelle… Just two words as her wings disappeared… Leaving Erelle holding Nina… Sleeping peacefully and not hurt anymore… Aria couldn’t resist but to cry “Erelle… Thank you so much …!” And with a smile, Erelle laid Nina back in her bed, putting the cover on her “I… I really wish I could heal people, too … ” said Aria with sad eyes “You’re also helping people too, Aria… I can’t help people as much as you do when you’re building those houses with Rhis… But I’m happy to have helped you and your sister” Aria bowed her head “I… Understand what you feel Erelle now… The fact that you helped this… ‘Claire’ too… I really understand how much you treasure ‘life’ and I won’t ever thank you enough for what you’ve done today…” Erelle smiled “As long as everyone is all right I’ll be happy, Aria…” The girl was now thinking of another girl she helped the day before “Claire…” It was still early… But Erelle wanted to be near her when she’ll wake up, not really wanting Claire to wander around and find the city… Aria put down her other sister she was holding… The young girl ran towards Erelle and hugged her legs “Thank you Erelle ! I’m happy that Nina is safe now !” Erelle put her hand in the girl’s hair, Aria talked again “I’ll bring you back to her if you want Erelle, Nina will sleep for some time and I could bring you back to Claire during this time.” Erelle nodded “I guess it would be better for all of us.” Once the girls were outside, Aria put her arms around Erelle and a warm wind surrounded them… Soon they were ‘flying’ again… Aria still holding tight to the girl who just saved her sister…

Soon they were near their destination but Erelle had a strange shiver… Finally some sand on the ground, the beach was near… But once they landed… Claire wasn’t here… “No…” Said Erelle… Were they late…? But there was something strange about this disappearance… Aria summoned the wind again and she was now flying above to scan the landscape… Erelle saw a surprised look on Aria’s face… And soon she was on the ground again “Did you see anything, Aria …?” The girl nodded “I saw some… Giant footsteps… Maybe 2 or 3 people like her… And there’s a big trail in the sand near the sea… Like if a boat was here…” Erelle was thinking… There was indeed another ship, as Claire told her… Did some other ‘humans’ come here to rescue her…? It was clearly the case… “I guess it’s better for her… To be with the ones like her…” Said Erelle in a whisper… Aria nodded “Hmmm so some other giants came here to bring her back…? They took her ‘cover’ too… She was just a young girl after all and we couldn’t keep her here forever too…” Erelle let a tear roll on her cheek… But it was the right thing to do… “Let’s go home, please.” Said Erelle… Aria nodded without a word and, grabbing Erelle’s arm, she called the wind again and the girls flew back to their city…

Claire was sleeping peacefully, wrapped in her ‘cover’… She had a tiny moan, smelling something nice not so far she slowly opened her eyes… And gasped… “Where… Where am… I…?” Noticing the wooden room and seeing the sea by the window, she guessed she was on a ship… But how did she manage to get here…? Sitting on the bed she was wondering if all of this was maybe just a ‘dream’… But it looked so real… Soon the door opened…. A blonde woman came in, she was wearing a light leather armor with some plate parts on her shoulders and her arms “Do you feel better, Claire…?” The young girl was stunned… Tears filling her eyes she jumped off the bed and ran to the woman to ‘land’ in her arms “Aunt Maria…! You’re alive !!” The woman hugged her back “Please Claire… I’m still hurt from this accident… But…” The woman crouched and looked at the young girl “You were badly hurt… What happened to you…?” Claire smiled…”I met an angel ! She healed me and also gave me some apples to eat !” Maria looked at the girl’s side… She was sure she saw her bleed badly from a deep wound… “I… don’t understand… How is that possible… I never heard of something like that…” Claire was still smiling “It was Erelle… She was so wonderful… If only she wasn’t so tiny…” Maria opened her eyes wide “Tiny…? But wasn’t she an angel…?” Claire giggled “Yes! A tiny angel…! She was about well… This size ? She could stand on my hand easily and she was looking exactly like us…” Maria was thinking “Hmmm by chance do you remember where she lives…? We hadn’t seen anyone when we found you on this beach.” Claire looked a bit sad “No… I just met her on the beach… But she’s living in a city… I guess she took a walk when I was sleeping… I wonder if she’s still searching for me…” Maria smiled and patted Claire’s head “You need to rest, Claire… Don’t think that much… And I brought you some food too” said Maria, taking a small platter filled with different kinds of food and placing it in front of Claire. There was a small steak, vegetables and a glass of fresh water… There was also a tiny black bottle… Claire knew those but it wasn’t the moment for this yet. Sitting on the bed with the platter, she took the fork and started to eat some vegetables… Maria smiled “I’ll be going to talk with the explorers, I’ll be back later, Claire, enjoy all of this and there’s more if you want.” Claire nodded as she saw her aunt going out of the room. Finishing her plate and drinking the cold water she went to the window and looked out… Holding the black bottle in her hand she was wondering if she would see Erelle again. Opening the tiny bottle and discovering her tiny ‘candy’ she dropped it in her hand… It was a tiny naga… Shivering from fear and hissing at the giant human girl… It was something natural for humans… Nagas were just ‘candies’ for them… The small naga was looking older than Claire and had red hair, her eyes of the same color… “Now that I think about it… You really look like Erelle, tiny one… Too bad that you’re just some candy and not so human like her …” Said Claire, pinching the tiny girl between two fingers on her hips… Claire opened her mouth and closed her lips on the tail of the naga who was now screaming… Claire sucked hard… Giggling as she was feeling more of the tiny naga entering her mouth… With a last cry, the small naga disappeared between Claire’s lips… Who tilted her head back and swallowed her easily… Not caring about the tiny screams going down her throat… Claire sighed deeply and rested her head on her arms… “I really miss my Erelle…”

Maria was in the ‘office’ since she was the commander of the expedition. This island wasn’t on any map they had… And she was wondering if they could find something on it… But that ‘angel’ story Claire told her about was strange… Maria knew Claire since she was born and she wasn’t the kind of child who would lie to her and… Maria thought that the girl died in the accident… She saw her bleeding and sinking into the sea, she remembered trying to find her in the storm but there was no trace of Claire as the ship she was on sank deep in the sea… Were there really angels living on the island…? It would be a great honor to bring one back to her queen… But they were… Tiny…? Maria was thinking of the nagas that humans discovered many years ago… If there was any way to breed them too, maybe … Someone knocked on the door. Maria put down her map “Come inside.” Another woman went inside, she was one of the explorers “I’ve brought you some medicine, Commander.” Maria smiled “Well thank you… It’s not every day that we sink our ship… But I won’t joke much about this… It’s one of the dangers we have to face as explorers…” The other woman nodded her head “I understand. But I’m a bit surprised… Claire managed to survive and she looks so healthy… Wasn’t she badly wounded as you said ?” Maria rested in her chair “Well yes… But she claims that she found a tiny ‘angel’ looking like a human but not even as tall as your thumb… That angel healed all of her wounds… I didn’t believe it at first… But Claire doesn’t have any scar on her body…!” The girl looked surprised “Hmmm wouldn’t that be a sign of bad fortune if we had to go back on this island, Commander ? I’m glad we discovered this island and that we got Claire back… But I wouldn’t be cursed by the those if I had to face one of those angels…” Maria looked at the sky by the window “But they’re not all like this… Claire told me that only some of them have ‘powers’ and there’s a full city of small people… Just like the nagas the Empire found some years ago…” The girl smiled “But nagas are just candy for us, of course small people just like us would be a great discovery for the Empire… We could have so much honor and gold… Ah!” The girl said too much, Maria answered “Don’t worry. That’s what we ‘search’ too when we’re exploring those seas… Treasures and glory for the Empire and for us too… If we could bring some back to the queen… Tell me… Do we still have some tiny naga cages …?” The girl smiled, understanding what was going on… “Yes, Commander. Should I regroup the explorers on the bridge?” Maria stood up “Yes. Take the ‘bags’ too… I’m pretty sure we’ll need them. Tell all the explorers to be ready for a night raid.” The girl gave a salute to Maria “Yes, Commander ! For the Empire!” Then went back in the crew quarters… Maria sat again on her chair, took some of the medicine the girl brought her and looked at the empire’s flag that was on the wall “Sorry, Claire… But I’ll be doing this for the Queen… It’s my duty.”

It was almost night, Maria went on the ship’s bridge and ordered everyone to get a bag… It would be a raid and they would have to bring back anything they’d find… Telling them about the ‘small ones’ and the ‘angel’ that saw Claire. Of course all of the explorers were surprised but Maria looked serious… It was something real, they were about to discover a new ‘human-like species’… Maria nodded “I know that we’re going to catch them… But are they human ? You don’t have to feel bad about this… We already did that many years ago when we discovered that naga land so just be careful not to kill them when you’ll be taking them… I don’t care for anything else aside this ‘angel’ they have… But I’ll bring back this angel down to earth and show her that our Empire is the only ruler here !” And then everyone got ready… Ready to ‘discover’ those small people… And bring them back to their homeland… Maria put her light armor on herself and picked up her dagger just in case they would meet some hostility…

Claire entered Maria’s room “Auntie…? I heard that you’re going to search for them…? Why would you do that… They never wanted to hurt me or you…” Maria put a knee on the ground in front of Claire “Claire… I’m sorry about that… I’m glad they helped you, but… You have to understand that they’re not human like you and I… They’re… ‘Creatures’… Just like the nagas… And my… OUR duty is to bring them back to the Empire” Maria put an armored hand on Claire’s shoulder “Do you want to come with us…? You wanted to be an explorer and it’s the best time to learn.” Claire pushed Maria’s hand away “I don’t want to see this… You’re going to break down their houses and ‘harvest’ them, right…? I can’t see this… And I can’t understand why you do this… You’ll have glory and gold from the queen? Is that your reason to ‘sell’ them…?” Maria bowed down her head “Claire… We have to do this… We’ve… Been so low on our savings… That expedition was the last one we planned and … We lost one of our two ships… I almost lost you, too ! Please try to understand…” Claire walked away to the door… “I wonder sometimes who the monster really is … If that’s us humans or every new people we meet…” Claire stopped… Remembered that tiny naga from before… She wasn’t really caring for her and just ate her without a feeling… “Yes… I’m the monster… I wish I would have left this world for good yesterday…” Then Claire closed the door and went into her room. Maria stood up… Stunned from what she just heard… But she had no choice… It was her last chance to serve the crown…” She started to walk slowly to the bridge… It was almost time…

Erelle was walking in the city, people were used to call her when she was in the streets, she wouldn’t refuse to help anyone and was happy to cure anything… She was passing by some workers, they were building a new house for some people who married some days ago, Erelle smiled as she saw a familiar face… “Hello Mira !” She said to the red haired girl who turned her head “Ah…! Erelle, hello !” Mira grabbed the rope aside her and climbed down to face Erelle “This house looks so lovely already… I wish that the people who’ll live here will be happy.” Said Erelle “I’m sure they will ! It’s my cousin who’ll live here and if he doesn’t like this house, I’ll go towards him and will tell him that I broke my arm for them !” Erelle was surprised then started to laugh “Hahaha ! But you’re feeling better now, don’t tell me that you’re going to break it again ~” Mira giggled too… Erelle put her hand against the wall “Don’t worry Mira, you’re doing great work with everyone. I can tell that they’ll live here for years.” Mira was looking at some worker “Hey…! What are you doing ?” Turning her head and ready to go back “Thank you for passing by, Erelle… If you want to come some other night to have dinner with us it will be an honor.” Erelle bowed “Thank you, Mira. I’ll be happy to spend another evening with you and your sister.” And bowing again, Erelle continued to walk around.

It was the end of the evening on the east beach. Basil was ‘training’ here. Like Aria he could use his ‘power’ to fly around with his will, he could also move some rocks way taller than him but he wasn’t really using his power to help people… He was also convinced that the ‘chosen’ were different from the people and had to rule them… Erelle didn’t agree with this but still the 5 of them were meeting to talk about various subjects. Suddenly Basil heard some noises… Looking at the other side of the beach he saw something impossible : Two giant ships landing on the sand with a dozen of giants inside… “Damn you, Erelle… If only you chose to kill that girl before…” Mumbling this, Basil went to hide near… Listening to what they were talking about. Maria was giving orders… They’ll search the whole island all the night to find the tiny city… And they’ll be sure to catch every one of those small people… Basil clenched his teeth as she heard Maria and saw the small dagger she had on her belt… Basil had an idea…

Maria didn’t immediately notice her dagger moving… It wasn’t supposed to ‘fly away’ on its own. Suddenly a girl from the explorers screamed “C… Commander …!” Maria turned around to see her own dagger flying and was close enough to her neck… “What… Is this… Sorcery…?” The small man went in the air far enough from Maria but close enough to yell “Go away, monsters ! Don’t make me kill your ‘officer’ !” Nobody was moving, scared but also seeing a small one for the first time. Maria was looking a bit surprised “And could I know who I am talking to…?” Basil was looking confident… He was currently ‘stronger’ than a giant… “I am Basil of the 5 chosen ! Now go back where you came from !!” But Basil wasn’t expecting Maria to be a skilled fighter… In a single move she crouched and grabbed her dagger… Looking at Basil with an angry stare “Wha…?” But Basil couldn’t say more when he got grabbed between two gloved fingers… “Let me go…! Monster …!” But Maria laughed… “So is that all you got … Basil of the 5…?” She approached her blade close to the small man’s head “Now. Tell me where you live… I wouldn’t want to cut you in half by mistake…” Basil tried to hit the giant fingers with his fists… He was the strongest among his people after all… But Maria looked down at him “Is that all you have…? Tell me where you’re hiding… Now.” Maria was tightening her grip… The small man was suffering but started to know that his powers were useless against them… “St… Stop this…! I… I’ll tell you…” His will to fight back was broken… He couldn’t do anything against a single giant so what could he ever do against twelve of them… “Very well… Show me the way.” Said Maria, still holding the tiny one tightly…

The night finally came and Erelle was tired… She spent some time with Nina in the evening and walked a bit with her. The young girl promised that she’ll never go near the cliff and that she won’t worry Aria again. After bringing Nina back, Erelle walked back to her house, still enjoying people talking around in the streets and suddenly Fyr’s words echoed in her mind again… She was wondering if they were really related to Claire… But some words were strange too and she couldn’t understand their meaning yet… Closing the door to her house, Erelle removed her shoes and sat on her bed… Claire was such a nice girl even if she was so tall… Would she met her ever again…? “It’s not a good idea…” Said Erelle while laying on her bed… But if the giants were friends with the small ones… It would be so great… Erelle was thinking of everything they could do together… And started to close her eyes slowly…

A big noise was heard… Erelle’s eyes opened wide… “What… Is this …?”. Outside near the giant trees appeared some strange shadows… The humans were facing the city… Erelle could hear many screams coming from outside… She heard a word specifically… “Giants…”. Maria smiled “Well… Looks like we found them at last… Thank you Basil…” The tiny man was shivering from fear “What… Are you going to do now…?” Maria put her head on the side and smiled “Oh…? Well I think that we’re going to catch all of you…” Basil yelled “Why would you do that ?! We’re not looking for war with you monsters…!” Maria giggled “Tell me, Basil… Who was the one that wanted to kill me…?” Basil shivered… It was his fault… But didn’t said anything else… “Well… You served us well… I won’t need you again.” And with a simple move she let the tiny man fall in her bag. “All right, explorers… Surround them and catch all of them. Don’t hesitate to search their houses too.” All of the explorers answered and then started to walk all around the small city…

Erelle couldn’t believe it… She was standing at her door looking at the giants from below… They were pulling off the roofs of all the houses easily and picked all the screaming people from them… She had a strong shiver “What’s happening… Who are they…?” The worst was that they were… Enjoying this…? Was it just a game for them to catch her people …? Erelle had a bad feeling… Not putting on her sandals she ran down the street… Thinking out loud… “Aria… Be safe, please …!” She was seeing more broken houses on her way… The giants just walking on the empty houses and crushing them easily under their boots… Erelle was crying but didn’t stop running…

“Erelle !” someone screamed… It was Rin “What’s happening …? Are they really monsters…?” Erelle looked again at the giants… “Rin… Search for Mira…! We have to hide everyone !” Rin gasped… There was no time to waste … The girls were running to the place where the adventurers were telling their tales. Rhis was here… With his power he created an opening in the ground with a large room… “Mira !” Yelled Rin… The girl ran towards them, Erelle talked “You two! Hide in the tunnel Rhis opened now…! ” the two girls were panicked but Erelle put her hands on their shoulders “Trust me. Rhis will take care of you… Go now !” The two girls entered the tunnel, Rhis noticed Erelle “And what about you Erelle, go inside too, please! The giants haven’t noticed this hideout yet!” Erelle was looking serious “I need to find Aria. Just help everyone and close this, Rhis. I’ll be Safe.” Rhis tried to speak but noticed Erelle’s eyes… She wouldn’t abandon her friends… “Be sure to come back, Erelle.” Said the young man before letting her go. Erelle started to run again… She was so close…! Maria was talking to the young officer “Well… We didn’t see that ‘angel’ yet… Erelle was her name…?” Erelle stopped and turned to hear this… There was only one giant who knew her name… Tears started to roll on her cheeks as she started to run again, remembering ‘this’ girl… “Claire…”

Soon enough Erelle was near Aria’s house… Her feet were hurting from the long run and she was breathing irregularly… She had reached her destination… But a giant was near, too… Erelle opened the door and dashed inside. Aria’s sisters were here… “Where is Aria, Nina ?” The tiny girl was crying… “She went outside… To help some people, and she asked us to stay here… But are they really giants…? Those monsters from the tales …?” Erelle put a knee on the ground and let the two young girls fall in her arms “Yes… But don’t worry… I’ll protect you until Aria comes back here… I saw a giant woman coming near, we should hide in your basement now before getting seen…” Nina nodded and with shivering legs she went to open the lock to the cave under the house. The 3 girls went inside and closed the wooden trap. Erelle sat on the ground and took the two girls in her arms… “Please be safe, Aria…”

Aria was flying fast in the city… Picking people up and bringing them to Rhis, she did her best not to be seen. She shivered at the sight of a giant woman getting closer to her house… “No…!” But as soon as she raised in the air, the woman put her glove on Aria’s house and pulled off the roof with a smile… And let it fall nearby “Hooo another empty one…”. Aria opened her eyes … Where were her sisters ? She couldn’t believe that they were already caught and started to fly to her house, the giant woman walking already away in search of new victims… Aria opened her eyes wide as she saw her house empty… Then noticed the trap door opening. The two young girls and Erelle exited the basement, they were looking around their destroyed house and were shivering from fear… Aria landed in front of them and her sisters went right in her arms… “Erelle… Thank you again… You saved them…” Erelle shook her head “You need to hide now… Just go inside Rhis’ tunnel and ask him to close it now. Aria opened her eyes “And what about you, Erelle ? I won’t leave you here !” Erelle bowed her head then looked back into Aria’s eyes “I will be all right. I’ll join you later but hurry up before Rhis closes the tunnel…” Aria looked into Erelle’s eyes… They were filled with anger… Anger from what was happening to all of them… And it wasn’t a good idea to disagree with her… Aria grabbed her sisters with her arms and called the winds… The 3 of them were now flying towards the tunnel Rhis opened in the ground… Aria’s sisters were crying… Refusing to leave Erelle behind… But it was her choice… And no one could change her mind now.

Soon the 3 girls disappeared from Erelle’s sight… She took a deep breath and looked at the ‘humans’… Her eyes started to glow… As her two wings appeared on her back… “Why are you doing this… We were living peacefully here… I can’t forgive… This…!” The glow from Erelle’s eyes started to expand all over her body… Her hair started to shine and her body started to change… Erelle was growing… The light surrounding her getting more intense… Some of the explorers saw the light and started to run away… Screaming about a curse… Maria was looking at this girl growing… Her two wings shining and a light crown appearing on Erelle’s forehead… Soon Erelle had the size of a human girl… Looking below, she was stepping on Aria’s house, crushed under her very own feet… Erelle raised her head… The same glow in her angry eyes… She was staring at the explorers. “So the ‘angel’ finally appeared…” Said Maria… Some explorers fell on their knees… Letting their bags fall on the ground and allowing the tiny people to escape… “You did enough for today… Let them go and leave this island immediately !” Yelled Erelle… She was looking really serious and about to ‘explode’… Maria was looking at the ‘angel’ “Ho… Well… I’m sorry but I can’t do that… The only one who gives me orders is my queen and even an angel like you won’t change this.” Erelle’s eyes glowed again “Stop this and leave now…! Who do you think you are to ‘harvest’ my own people like this ?!” Maria smiled… “We’re the ‘Empire’… We are the rulers of this world and your island and people belong to our queen now… I don’t care if you hate this… And if you want to fight too I’ll be glad to be your opponent …!” Then Maria suddenly started to dash towards Erelle… Crushing more tiny houses under her boots… Erelle was surprised and took a step back, she wasn’t expecting the human girl to attack her… And soon Maria’s glove reached Erelle’s cheek who was sent ‘flying’ away… “Aaah…” Moaned Erelle from pain and soon the glow started to disappear… Her body starting to shrink back down… As she landed on some tiny houses where she got back to her small size… Maria approached the girl and picked her up by the leg… Looking at the tiny body in front of her face “Already defeated…? You weren’t worthy of fighting me, ‘Erelle’…” Maria opened her purse and let the tiny girl fall inside… “To all the remaining troops, finish catching them and let’s go back to the ship!” The explorers nodded and finished catching the small people… Not thinking that some of them succeeded in hiding underground.

Maria closed the door to her ‘office’ and opened her purse. With two fingers she picked up Erelle, still unconscious and placed her in a metallic box, tall enough so Erelle wouldn’t escape from it. Taking a bottle and a glass, she poured some wine in it… Then sat at her desk… Looking at the tiny sleeping girl while drinking… Soon Erelle’s eyes opened slowly… She recoiled in pain… Then gasped… Maria’s face was above her “So you finally decided to wake up…?” Erelle stood up and looked at the giant girl… “why did you do that…! I never wanted to attack you !” Maria had a giggle… “You were scaring my men… It was the best thing to do so they could finish their job…” Erelle had her angry eyes again “And you’re planning to keep us as prisoners …?” Maria laughed… “You could say that, yes… But it will be up to our queen to decide… But knowing her… You might just become our slaves like the nagas…” Erelle was shivering… And saw Maria picking a tiny bottle… Pouring its ‘content’ in her hand. “Well… They’re special… Since they’re not as ‘human like’ as you we’ve decided to ‘produce’ them and they do their job… As our ‘candy’.”

Erelle’s eyes opened wide as she saw a snake girl as tall as her… Only her long tail was different… Maria was holding her in the air by the tip of her tail… The tiny girl was hissing… Trying to escape the two fingers’ grip before she was placed in front of Maria’s face… Erelle was shivering… Her legs too weak, she fell on her butt… And was forced to watch this horrible event happening… Maria watched Erelle “In the worst case you could finish like this… Still I don’t know what to think about that yet… It will be our Queen’s decision after all …” Erelle was still scared… This ‘creature’ looked so much like her… She wasn’t talking but screaming and hissing at the ‘human’… Maria talked again “Too bad we don’t teach them how to talk… It could be funnier if they begged for their tiny lives…” Erelle screamed “You’re really planning to breed us just like your animals…?! What kind of ‘ruler of the world’ would do that ?!” Maria looked a bit pissed off “Because we can.” Then the human girl raised the tiny naga girl above her head “Time to show her what could happen to her if she keeps yelling like that…” Said Maria before opening her mouth wide and let the naga’s face ‘land’ on the wet texture that was Maria’s tongue… The human girl wasn’t feeling anything but ‘pleasure’… And soon she raised her head and a horrible mix of sounds echoed in Erelle’s ears… The scream of the naga girl… And the sound of Maria’s throat as she swallowed her… Erelle saw with horror the tiny bulge containing the naga girl going down Maria’s neck and soon the tiny tail was sucked inside the woman’s lips and also disappeared… Erelle’s voice was shivering “You… You ate… Her…” The human girl had a laugh “Too bad they’re just candy, right ? We found them some years ago and the queen had the nice idea of breeding them… So everywhere in the Empire you can find some of them to enjoy…” Erelle’s lips where shivering too “It’s … Monstruous… Just because you’re taller would give you the right to do this…?” Maria put her hand just aside Erelle in the box “And because I’m taller and stronger than you, it also gives me the right to crush you under my glove too… Be careful about what you say, tiny ‘Erelle’…” The white haired girl looked at the ground… “Claire was different…” Maria giggled … “Claire is just a child… ! She doesn’t realize the meaning of this… And she will forget you as soon as the queen will reward us for our ‘discovery’…” Erelle put her fists on her knees… “So you’re just selling us… We’re just … ‘Money’ for you…” Maria nodded “Yes. It’s our job to find new ‘species’ and discover new lands… Even if your ‘island’ isn’t that big… and well… You’ll make a nice gift for our queen… I already have an idea for that…”

The door opened and a young girl came inside Maria’s office… “Auntie… What have you done…” It was Claire but she had empty eyes… “Claire… It’s not the time to-” but Claire interrupted her “It’s the perfect time !! What have you done !! I saw your men put some tiny people in naga cages…! Did you really destroy Erelle’s city…?” Erelle had her eyes opened wide “Claire…! Help me !” But as soon as Claire heard the tiny voice, Maria closed the box… Trapping Erelle inside… “Is that Erelle inside ?” Asked Claire “Yes it’s her… And she’s just a monster just like the nagas… She scared my explorers and I had to take her with me.” Claire’s cheeks went red as she started to yell “She was nice to me ! I almost died, don’t you remember !! She was the one who saved my life and now you’re calling her a ‘monster’?! I… Hate you !!” Claire’s words were like knives in Maria’s skin as the young girl ran away… Maria put the box on her desk… Not opening it she went to her window and looked by the window… “It’s my duty… If I had the choice back then… But it’s done…”

It was the middle of the night… Erelle was still trapped in the box but couldn’t use her ‘power’… She was too tired and scared to fully control it… She couldn’t escape this stupid prison… And soon she was too tired and tried to sleep on the cold ground… Maria didn’t want her tiny prisoner to die yet so she put some pieces of bread inside of the box before closing it again on the previous night. Soon the door opened in the darkness and a small shadow went inside of Maria’s office… That shadow knew what to do and opened the box… A large hand picked Erelle up, awakening her but didn’t let her the time to scream… The shadow then walked away after closing the box… Erelle was surrounded by giant fingers all around of her… She couldn’t escape and was trying to guess what would happen to her now… When the hand finally opened again Erelle was sitting on it… And looking above her she saw a girl’s face… She was smiling but her eyes were showing a deep sadness… “Are you all right, Erelle…?” Erelle had a shiver as she saw Claire… And tears started to form in her eyes “Claire…” The human girl tried to smile “Don’t worry, Erelle… I’m going to help you… I disagree with my aunt and I’ll do my best to help your people.” Erelle was shivering “But… How…” Claire put her hand in front of her face “Don’t worry. I know what to do.” And with this, Claire started to walk towards the storage room of the ship. Closing the door behind her Claire saw something horrible for her and for Erelle … Disposed in the room were many cages placed in piles and containing many tiny people in them… Some were crying, some other screaming and even some that were trying to break the ‘prison’ without success. Some human weapons and chains for the human prisoners were also stashed around this room. Claire made Erelle sat on her shoulder with a smile “Let’s get started, shall we ?” And with both of her hands she took a cage and placed it on the ground. Some of the people inside were screaming but calmed down as they saw Erelle pairing with the human girl. Soon Claire opened the cage and broke the tiny door so the explorers wouldn’t use it again… “We’re in the middle of the sea… You should all hide inside the ship !” Said Claire to the small ones, showing an old plank where the small people could hide behind, deep inside of the ship’s hull. Erelle had a tiny cry of joy… There was still hope for her people… Claire patted the tiny girl’s head with a finger… “Time to break another one!” And grabbing another cage she broke again the tiny door, letting the small people hide away from the humans… Claire picked a third cage and was about to open it when she heard the door behind her open… “I knew it was you, Claire.” Said a woman’s voice…

Maria was standing in front of Claire… The armored woman way taller than the young girl… With a fast move she grabbed the tiny girl on Claire’s shoulders… Making her scream from the finger’s pressure… Maria had a severe look on her face “Aunt Maria…! You’re hurting her !!” Screamed Claire but Maria just put the tiny Erelle inside her purse again then grabbed Claire’s shoulders “I don’t care… She’s just an animal… Just a tiny monster that doesn’t deserve your kindness.” And with a strong move, Maria made Claire sit on a prisoner’s chair and locked Claire’s wrists on it… Claire was crying “What are you doing ?! Please auntie… Don’t hurt me !” But Maria had an empty smile… “I won’t hurt you, Claire… I’ll teach you something…” Maria took a full cage and placed it near the chair… Finally opening the door she picked up a tiny woman… She was screaming from fear… Begging for help… “Well Claire… It’s late already… You skipped dinner to come here, right…? I guess you deserve to be punished… Don’t you agree…?” Claire was shivering… Still tied to the chair she saw the tiny woman Maria was holding carelessly between her fingers… Maria approached her hand with the tiny woman between her fingers and placed it in front of Claire’s face… “Eat her.” Claire’s eyes opened wide… “N… No… They’re… Humans… Don’t make me do that…!” But Maria had an angry look, grabbed the girl’s cheek with her other hand “Don’t disobey, Claire …! And listen to me, they’re not human like us…” And pressing harder on Claire’s cheek… Maria made her open her mouth “Good girl…” Before placing the tiny screaming woman inside of Claire’s mouth… She repeated herself “Eat her… Now.” Claire shook her head… She was blushing from a strange feeling… The tiny woman was really inside of her mouth…! So full of life and trying to escape! But Maria had her hand in front of Claire’s lips so she couldn’t spit the tiny one outside… Claire’s eyes were filling with tears… She didn’t want to do this but soon an amazing feeling took over her… She had the tiny woman’s life at her mercy… Just like the nagas she loved so much… She couldn’t deny it anymore…

“Let me out!!” Erelle was trapped in the bag… And was yelling at Maria… But the human girl wasn’t listening… More focused on the ‘lesson’ she was giving to Claire… And soon another ‘horrible’ noise echoed in Erelle’s ears… The same as before when she was watching Maria mocking her… The human woman put her hands on Claire’s head… And soon that ‘gulping sound’ was heard … When Maria forced Claire to swallow the tiny girl… Claire was shivering… “No… No…! What have I… Done…” She was feeling a tiny body going deep inside of her body… But it was different from a naga… And had a strange mix of feelings… She was fearing what was happening but also… Was enjoying it… It was the first time ever a human ate a tiny one… And moreover against the young human girl’s will… Erelle fell on her back… She couldn’t believe what happened… Maria had a smile… She wasn’t done yet.

“Did you enjoy it, Claire…? Is it different from what we’re used to…?” Claire bowed her head down… She was feeling the tiny one fighting for her life within her body… Having a wave of pleasure each time the small woman hit the stomach’s walls with her fists… “Ahh aaaahhh…” Claire couldn’t talk… Her whole body shivering… Maria had a strange reaction… She went against Claire’s body and put her arms around her… “Sorry Claire… But I’m doing this for you… I don’t want you to feel sad… I just want to show you what those tiny ones are for…” But soon a tiny scream surprised Maria… “What have you done … Giant monster …! You just ate my sister alive…!!” It was a young tiny girl… She was crying and was probably Claire ‘meal’s’ sister … Maria had a naughty smile… And opening the cage she picked up the girl between two fingers… “No…! No!!!” Was screaming the young small girl… Erelle was also screaming “Stop this…! Claire, don’t listen to your aunt… !! She’s lying to you !!” But Maria didn’t stop and placed the tiny screaming girl in front of Claire’s face… “Claire… You know what to do, right…?” The young human girl bowed her head, Maria talked again “Good girl… It’s better not to tear families apart after all …” And putting a finger under Claire’s chin, raising her head a bit, the young human girl’s lips shivered… Before opening wide… Maria had a giggle and dropped the small girl inside the waiting maw… Claire closed her lips as the small girl landed on her tongue… She was still shivering… Not from fear anymore… She was enjoying this… The tiny girl trying to open the giant lips… The feeling she had when Claire was pressing her small victim against her cheek… Before starting to raise her tongue… Ready to send her to her sister… Maria picked up Erelle from the small purse and forced her to watch this… “Claire… I won’t force you this time… You know what to do.” Erelle was shivering, too… Fearing what was happening again … “No…! Nooooo !!!” Screamed the small girl inside Claire’s mouth… She was now under Claire’s uvula… Erelle screamed “Claire…! Listen to me, please…!! Don’t do-” but before she could finish, Claire swallowed the small girl… Her mind and will to fight this strange ‘pleasure’ shattering … She was really enjoying this… Erelle was horrified to see the tiny shape going down Claire’s neck… “So they’re that good…?” Said Maria while opening the locks that were on Claire’s wrists… The young human was still shivering… Maria had an idea… She started to move Erelle in front of Claire’s face… The young human girl had empty eyes… She was looking at the tiny Erelle in front of her… “You… You can’t be… Serious…!!” Yelled Erelle when she was moved closer… She was trying to escape the grip of Maria’s fingers… But soon her eyes opened wide in horror… Right in front of her… Claire was opening her mouth… Wanting more… “Claire…! You’re really…?” The human girl’s eyes were still empty… As if life itself left them… “Sorry Erelle… But I can’t resist… It was so… Good…” And again Claire waited for Maria to drop the tiny girl inside her waiting mouth…

“That will be enough, Claire.” Said Maria while removing Erelle in front of Claire’s face and putting the tiny girl back in her purse. Claire frowned… She was expecting to ‘save’ her tiny angel… In the most horrible way she could… Maria put a hand on Claire’s head “I’m sorry again, Claire… But you needed to understand what they are… As you saw their tiny lives are so fragile that it’s better for us to decide what to do with them…” Then Maria lifted Claire easily in her arms and carried her away from this room… The young human was blushing… And still shivering from an unbelievable pleasure… “Aaahh…” Maria was looking at Claire “Are you feeling all right, Claire…? Sorry I was a bit aggressive just now…” The girl was smiling… “I’m… all right… I can feel them moving inside of me… But it’s way more amazing than the nagas… Aaahhh…” Maria smiled… “Good girl.” While closing the room’s door and heading towards her office, still holding Claire in her arms…

Erelle was crying… She lost so much today… Two of her own people disappeared in front of her… And she also lost someone else… The human girl that she saved before… Erelle had a strong shiver… Remembering Claire about to eat her too… Her mind was broken and Erelle couldn’t do anything to bring her back… She buried her face in her hands… Feeling that her kind were just like… Some tiny candies for the humans… “I can’t believe this…” Said Erelle while hitting the leather wall with her fist… Erelle would now be alone trying to escape… Maria finally came inside her office and closed the door… She put Claire in her bed and put a cover over the girl… Removing her purse from her belt she put it on her desk and sat nearby… Maria was looking at Claire falling asleep… Having a cute tiny burp as she was ‘finishing her meal’… Maria was feeling a bit sad.. If only Claire just accepted to understand her ‘humanity’ earlier… But now it was different… Maria took her box and placed some bread in it… She then opened her purse without looking inside, not wanting to face Erelle again, and placed it in the box before closing it… Finally placing her box on a shelf… “We’ll be back soon…” As Maria looked at her maps, the Empire wasn’t so far anymore…

It was early in the morning, the massive ship entered a giant port… It was the capital of the Empire and Maria was on the bridge… Looking at the people who welcomed them back but even if they were really back in their city, Maria wanted to ‘hide’ their discovery… Going down in the crew quarters she ordered them to put all of the small cages in a big chest and also make some tiny holes so the small people could breathe. Going back in her room, Maria opened her box and saw Erelle… The tiny girl wasn’t looking alive anymore… She was sitting near the bread and was eating a tiny crumb… Her empty eyes turned with her head when she saw the ‘light’ and looked at Maria… “It’s the big day for you, Erelle… You’re going to meet our queen today.” Erelle wanted to speak… But bowed her head down… She had lost all will to fight back… Maria put her hand in the box and grabbed the small girl between two fingers… Then put her in front of her face… “Don’t be sad, Erelle… It’s a glorious day for both of us ! I’m sure our queen will love you.” Erelle didn’t answer… Then Maria put her in her purse “That’s the last time you’ll be in there…” Closing the tiny leather bag, Maria went on the bridge. All the crew and Claire were here “Good. We finally made it. Be proud of yourselves, all of you. Today is our day, the day where we’ll enter the glorious Empire’s history !” All of them were cheering Maria, Claire was still looking a bit defensive. Maria put a hand on her head and crouched in front of her “Claire… I want you to do something, could you come with me in the city ?” The young girl nodded and followed her aunt “We’ll join you in front of the castle, put on your best uniforms and carry the chest to the castle’s gates, I have to do something with Claire first.” All the explorers bowed then went back in their quarters to change themselves. Maria, followed by Claire, went down a small plank to exit the ship. A small man was in front and bowed as the two girls approached “Commander Maria, here’s a horse for you. We’re glad to see you again.” Maria smiled “Thank you, today will be an incredible day for the Empire, tell the queen that we’ll be visiting her soon.” The man bowed again and went back in the streets. Maria climbed on the horse, offering a hand to Claire “Let’s go.” The young girl grabbed her aunt’s hand and climbed behind her… She wrapped her arms around Maria’s hips for safety. “Where are we going…?” Asked Claire, Maria answered “We’ll be getting new clothes and I have something to ask of the blacksmith too, it won’t take much time.” And soon the horse went into the harbor’s streets.

Maria stopped at the blacksmith’s first. She was drawing something on a paper sheet… The blacksmith and his apprentices were looking at the drawing and also talked about it… It would be a present for the queen so every detail would have to be perfect. It would be a Silver pendant attached to a silver chain. Maria wanted it to have some jewels all around it and a small mechanism in the center. Some apprentices were wondering its purpose but Maria whispered its secret in the blacksmith’s ear… The man was hesitating… But he knew Maria well and also knew that she might have really found something… Furthermore it would be a gift for the queen herself ! “I understand, Commander. We’ll be going to work on it with my apprentices and it will be ready in two hours.” Maria smiled “I know you can do it, you’re the best blacksmith of the Empire. Could you put it in a small chest when it will be done ?” The man smiled too “Of course! Nothing is too much for our queen !” And turning back he started to give orders to all of his men. Claire was listening to the whole story and was wondering what it was all about… Maria crouched in front of her “It’s a gift for our queen and Claire… You’ll be the one that will deliver it.” Claire’s cheeks went bright red… She would be really important today and she would also meet the queen ! Maria climbed back on her horse and lifted Claire again to sit her behind her. After some minutes they were in front of another shop… The people all around looked noble and richer than the people living on the harbor. Maria put a foot on the ground and helped Claire down. Claire opened her eyes wide open as she saw the beautiful shop in front of her… The soft scent tickling her nose… Maria smiled “Choose the dress you want, Claire !” Claire looked up to her aunt’s face and looked again to the gorgeous silk floating… Both girls went inside and Claire’s eyes stopped on something… A deep white dress with some black parts… The dress was already beautiful for Claire and she was wondering how she would look like with the dress on her … Soon she could feel two hands on her shoulders and Maria’s voice “It’s a beautiful one… And I think it will be the perfect one for you, Claire.” Claire had a giggle… She wasn’t expecting to wear such a beautiful dress one day… Maria went to talk with the vendor before both of them came back to Claire “You can have it now, young miss… Could you follow me to the room behind the shop to try it on ? Claire nodded as she went in the room. Meanwhile Maria was looking at her purse… She couldn’t feel Erelle for some time… The small girl was still there… Laying on the side and sobbing… Erelle didn’t look back at Maria and stayed like that… Maria closed her purse again and looked at the crowded street in front of the shop… Soon all of them… All of the known world of the Empire would know about her story… Her wonderful ‘discovery’… And maybe she could finally quit her job and enjoy a nice retirement… She wasn’t that old too but with the gold the queen would give her it would be enough to spend the rest of her life without risking her life again on the sea…

Soon Claire came back, dressed in her cute dress, Maria smiled “It really fits you, Claire! The queen will love it, too !” The young girl was blushing and Maria put a knee on the ground in front of her “It will be all right, Claire, we’ll all be there when you’ll bring her the gift.” Claire nodded and soon Maria sat her on her horse again. After giving some gold coins to the vendor, Maria went on her horse too and they were going back to the harbor. The explorers weren’t around the ship and were probably heading towards the castle at the moment. The blacksmith was closing the small chest containing the pendant when Maria stepped back in the small shop. “Commander, it’s ready. Just like you asked.” Maria nodded and opened the chest… The small silver pendant was here… The shape, the gems on it, everything was perfect… The tiny mechanism was also in the middle of it “Just turn the small screw behind and it will open, Commander.” Said the man as he demonstrated it… There was some space under the mechanism as requested, big enough to fit a small naga or… Something else. Maria put a hand on her belt and picked up her purse “Thank you, it’s exactly what I needed, the queen will really love it… But could you leave me alone for a minute, please ?” Asked the woman, the blacksmith smiled and bowed “Of course, Commander, take the time you need.” He then went to the back room, probably to tell his men about their great work. Maria opened her purse and looked inside “It’s your turn, Erelle. But don’t be sad like this… You’ll meet our queen soon enough.” Erelle wasn’t talking and let out a tiny squeak when Maria picked her up with her fingers… Erelle was looking ‘broken’… She was at the complete mercy of the human woman… And couldn’t do anything to escape… Her tiny eyes opened wide when Maria moved her closer to the pendant “What is… Aaaaahh!!” Erelle screamed when the lock of the pendant closed on her body… “No…” Cried the small girl… Trying to remove the giant ring holding her in the pendant… Maria smiled and put back the pendant in the chest …”Perfect… All the ‘gems’ are on it now…” Erelle screamed again… But she couldn’t do anything… Soon the chest closed and trapped her in the darkness again…

Erelle was crying… She was so far from her island… She was thinking about all the people that were still on it… Aria and her sisters… Rhis… Rin and her sister Mira… All the people she met… Were they safe now ? Erelle was ‘escaping’ this ‘prison’ by thinking about her old life… Those beautiful days in their city… And everything she wouldn’t see again… She tried in vain to move the silver ring she was trapped in… Nothing moved. Erelle rested her head on the cold pendant… Was her life going to end like this…? As the queen’s pendant forever…? Erelle closed her eyes… Wanted to sleep… And get out from this situation somehow… Soon Maria and Claire were in front of the castle…

The guards gave their salute to Maria as she approached. “Commander Maria. Your men are waiting in the inner court.” Maria bowed and walked while holding Claire’s left hand and carrying the tiny chest in her other arm. “It’s your turn soon, Claire. I want you to give this gift to the queen when we’ll meet her. Please be really respectful with her and smile, she’ll be even happier ” Claire nodded “I understand.” Maria smiled to the young girl “You’ll be perfect, Claire, you don’t have to worry about anything.” And soon both of them reached the place where the explorers were waiting… The queen would call them soon… Maria gave the chest to Claire and faced her men “Explorers… This day is the most important in our lives. Today you’ll enter the Empire’s glorious history, you can be proud of this. And I’m also really proud of all of you… This discovery will be a part of us forever… I’m really glad to have all of you here… And to have been your commander. Now… Be proud, explorers… It’s our time !” A guard came near the explorers and approached Maria “Commander Maria, the queen is waiting you.” Taking a long breath, Maria gave orders to her men and they all started to walk towards the throne room…

The queen Andrea was only 22 years old, she had inherited the crown when her mother passed away from a disease and had ruled over the empire for 7 years now. She was sitting in her throne when she saw the explorers coming in “Commander Maria… It’s been a long time since I last saw you… I’m glad you returned safely from your exploration… I heard strange rumors about something incredible that you found… Would you tell me the details about that, please ?” The queen was smiling… She was always looking happy but also knew when she had to be really serious. Maria approached a bit and put a knee on the ground. The determination Erelle had at first… Many days… weeks… Years ago… Started to fade… Erelle lost the count of her deaths… She wasn’t sure how she died the first time, too… Her eyes were tired… She was still floating in the darkness… Her wings glowing less than before… She wanted so much to change the world… That she almost lost herself, too… Atop of her 16 years… She was as old as someone who had lived hundreds or even thousands of years… Erelle had a strange laugh… Looking at her body slowly disappearing in the darkness… She wouldn’t last much longer… Her ‘power’ itself was fading away with her mind… And soon Erelle would rest forever… Lost in time and space… A tear rolled on her cheek… Even if she couldn’t cry in this place before her heart was filled with despair… And Erelle started to scream… “Why…?! Why…?! I never asked for this ‘curse’…! I may be Life itself but in this case why do I have to suffer like this…!? All those humans who played with and ended my life… Was all of my existence destined to be just a toy for them…?! And suddenly… Her white wing shattered… Erelle let out a tiny cry of pain… But it was the ‘price’… The wing fragments came around in front of her… A soft and warm glow started to shine… Erelle closed her eyes due to the light… And when she opened them again… A young girl was now right in front of her… This girl was looking like a 2 year old… Sleeping… And looking like Erelle… This girl had the same white hair and almost the same face Erelle had when she was younger… “So in the end I can really create Life itself…” Erelle moved her other wing and she could finally move in that dark space… Turning around the small sleeping girl, Erelle was putting her hands on her… Hugging this small girl who was the child Erelle dreamed to have… “You’ll be me… You’ll have everything I have… But I can’t allow you to have my memory… You have to be ‘clean’ of all of those painful memories…” Erelle faced now the back of the girl… Hugging her from behind… “Life won’t be easy for you… But you have my blessing… I’ll be watching over you…” Erelle placed her hand on the girl’s back and soon her blue wing shattered too… As a wing shape was appearing on the young girl’s back… Erelle’s crown faded slowly from her forehead too… To appear above the wing shape on the girl’s back… “I give you everything… And I’ll pray for your success in this special ‘mission’… Where humans and tiny ones like us would be happy together… ” Without its power… Erelle’s body started to fade… She was hugging the girl… Whispering in her young ear… “I’ll be forever by your side… Erry…” And in a soft glow… Erelle vanished from existence… Leaving the young girl in the darkness… Her back started to glow a bright blue… As she was about to travel for the first time… In her first ‘Life’…
